Film Esq. is written by a Texas attorney named Rodney Perkins. He currently acts as Business Director for Karakasa Games, a software startup focused on video games for iOS devices.

Rodney is also involved with various film related activities. He is currently a programmer for film festivals such as Fantastic Fest and Actionfest.  He has experience in providing legal services for film productions, including the 2010 release Red, White, and Blue. He has also written film reviews, essays, and articles for various online publications, including Twitch, Ain’t It Cool News, and Offscreen.
